Shortly after the launch of the new Street Fighter 848 and a few weeks before the world premiere of the new Ducati Superbike 1199 Panigale at the Milan EICMA (10th to 13th November 2011, MOTORCYCLE online reporting live on location) Ducati has now announced further details of the new model year.


With the Ducati Multistrada models (Multistrada 1200, Sport 1200 S, 1200 S Pikes Peak Special Edition and 1200 Touring S) stand for the2012 model year only changes in detail. The entire family receives a modified model of driver-passenger bench seat with an enlarged area to increase comfort. MOTORCYCLE-top in the test bench was deemed a little too hard, perhaps, this deficiency with the new seating and fixed.

The Multistrada 1200 S Touring will also get a new color variant called “Race Titanium Matt”.

The Hypermotard 1100 EVO SP is in model year 2012 as the “Corse Edition” slightly modified: Increased ground clearance, better suspension and a higher-mounted handlebar are designed to provide more athleticism. Is the 1100 SP EVO Corse Edition is the official red, white and black colors of the Ducati Corse racing team. Also presented at the Ducati MotoGP race in Malaysia, a Ducati Monster 795, which is intended for the Asian market and will be an entry model to the Ducati Monster family of models.
