On the first day we took the bike tour on the Lake .

Through the Bregenzerwald of Bludenz, Montafon by the Silvretta High Alpine Road the Paznauntal in our headquarters to Ochsengarten at Kuhtai . Until the driveway to the Silvretta, we also had best weather biker but this allowed us already to the paying agent in the lurch.

Heavy rain hampered the driveway to Bielerhohe. Towering was the Silvretta reservoir in front of us. After a coffee break on the Bielerhohe that the rain and we were in light rain to continue his journey to his quarters.


The second Days took us from Ochsengarten over the Kuhtai after the Sellraintal by the old Brenner Sterzing Street. From there it would go over the Penserjoch, Sarntal through the sunny, 26 degrees Celsius Bolzano and Merano continue on through the Passeiertal on the Timmelsjoch, here the temperature had dropped to 4 degrees in the meantime and it looked suspiciously like snow. Over Timmelsjoch, we drove through the Otztal Waldesruh back to our lodgings at the inn in Ochsengarten. And so, without a drop of rain abzubekommen.

The evening was the usual daily route briefing. According to the weather forecast we decided the next day not to drive and we stopped in the hotel spa or one or the other had taken a walk.

The next day should be beautiful again. So we went in glorious weather on the Pitztal on the Kaunergrat, through the Kaunertal Reschenstrasse from Reschenpass to Reschensee. Of course there was the obligatory break to visit the church tower rising from the lake of the sunken village and take photos.

Continued the trip to Merano where we took in a cozy beer garden for lunch. Invigorated the journey continued through the Passeiertal to Jaufenpass. Next coffee break was announced. The trip back to the starting point was again on the old road burners and Axams from Sellraintal. Here too, we were punished in the last 20 kilometers with heavy rain for the beautiful day.

On Friday the Alps motorcycle tour led us toward home and tour starting point to Ulm. We drove in partial sunshine and drizzle over the Arlberg pass, Flex Pass through the beautiful Lechtal. From about the Lechtal valley to Tannheimer Hallensee, where we stopped again in glorious sunshine a coffee break. After crossing the dry Oberjoch we drove the winding road through Isny Leutkirch direction. At this intermediate piece broke again at the sky and showered us with water masses. Therefore, we decided to change the Alps motorcycle tour a bit and the remaining 80 km on the highway Leutkirch – Memmingen – to drive Ulm. If already driving in the rain then at least on a fast track. From there it rained a drop more to the final destination.

Despite the changeable weather it was a nice trip, no vehicle breakdowns, no crashes and no nodules. From the troupe quickly became friends, strangers who took each other into consideration. Theride was so good that it came at intermediate stops and arrive at your destination with no noticeable delays. The group traveled mostly in closed formation get daily average of about 400 kilometers.

I would also like to mention that in our neighborhood the inn Waldesruh Ochsengarten bikers are welcome at any time. Night and good food for a nice price. At the end of the Alpine Motorardtour the participants agreed to start soon reunited for a tour.
