In 2012, the Honda Fireblade celebrates its 20th anniversary. It would therefore have expected a spectacular anniversary edition, including – as indicated by rumors – inspired by a V4 engine of the RC212V Moto GP, or a dual-clutch transmission.

These photos surreptitiously appeared on the Facebook page of Honda Hong Kong – and as quickly withdrawn – show a minor facelift. The 2012 CBR1000RR will only vintage new headlights, a revised dashboard, wheels novel, a fork “big pistons,” stickers “20 years” …and it will probably be all. See you in 2013 for “big game”?
