The 1198 R Corse Special Edition is a tribute to the Ducati Corse logo as well as winning the constructors’ title in the Super bike and the Super stock World Cup in 2009. For the special model includes aluminum tank-style factory racer, the paint job and the race kit.
Of course, even the top model of the Ducati Super bike family, with the road-going Ducati Traction Control (DTC) as standard.
The 1198 R Corse Special Edition is the ultimate Super bike. It is the most powerful and lightest twin-cylinder production motorcycle ever to be built in Borgo Panigale – with the best ratio of torque to the vehicle weight in the category of motorcycles. It is the product of a team of designers and engineers who knew only one goal: capable of winning performance.
The “R” is a race bike without any ifs and buts. The race vote, the highest-quality components and race-proven chassis technology provide the driver with confidence and provide an incredible level of performance.
The L-Twin Testastretta Evoluzione engine delivers an incredible 180 hp (at 9,750 r / min) and (min at 7,750 r /), a torque of 134Nm. With only 164kg dry weight is the 1198 R Corse Special Edition sets new standards. The road-going Ducati Traction Control (DTC) is standard, as is the Ducati Dathan analyzer (DDA). Delivered the 1198 R Corse Special Edition comes with a race kit.
