MV Agusta 675 F3

Description:
The new MV. A new piece of art on wheels comes to alter the balance of power. As with all MV this new model is synonymous with excellence, style and technology. The new F3 apply these principles to a new market segment, the middleweight supersport category.
If the F4, considered the world’s most beautiful bike, set standards of style and performance by which all others are judged, the new F3 completely surpassed all previous conceptions of what should be a supersport motorcycle, the redefinition of an entirely new category. The light weight, power and electronics working in complete harmony in a new motorcycle that pushes the concept to the extreme supersport.
Powerful, hyper-light and more compact than any other motorcycle in existence. The F3 sets a new standard by which all supersport motorcycles will be judged and compared. A completely new project that was created by the CRC, the research center that has consistently designed and developed the bikes of dreams.
The style is pure MV Agusta, like its big brother the F4, but the F3 is even more singular. The new “average weight” by MV follows the philosophy of all the MV Agusta artwork while pushing the limits of the Supersport class with a manic attention to detail. The exhaust system has a triple exit exhausts and is the perfect example of how design and function perfectly match. No doubt, the new F3 is a real MV Agusta!
Motor
The new F3 engine, an inline three-cylinder 675cc, honors the most successful motorcycle brand in the word. With this design MV ran and won an unprecedented number of races and world championship titles. This engine icon has returned in the form of a weight supersport middle edge technical performance solutions based on the demands of Claudio Castiglioni, who is convinced that this is the ideal architecture for a middleweight supersport.
The engine is the most compact, incredibly short and narrow engine ever seen in this category. The engine design is very modern, technologically advanced and capable of generating the most power ever in this category. One of the numerous technical features is the counter-rotation of the crankshaft, never before seen in a production supersport engine.
Electronics
The most advanced electronic control system of the engine has been designed specifically for this extraordinary three cylinders. For the first time in a VM (and in the middleweight supersport category) cable will walk along with several maps that optimize the output power in all conditions. TC Traction Control MV has been incorporated in the engine control system to increase the dynamic control to a new level in F3.

Chassis
As always, those traveling by MV Agusta have been used to having the best components and best performance of the chassis. The new F3 continues this tradition with a quality level that surpasses most of the 1000cc superbikes in the market. As with all previous MV, advanced frame design incorporates a mix of steel tubes and aluminum side plates that wrap the ultra compact motor offers a compaction level never before seen in a supersport bike. The compact dimensions of the left engine of the maximum freedom to design the most advanced chassis on the market with an exceptionally long single-sided swingarm, which ensures optimal traction and feedback to the rider. Components, as always, are of the highest quality. The Marzocchi front fork is fully adjustable Sachs rear shock. The front brake system consists of a Nissin radial master cylinder and radial Brembo calipers and discs. Is simply the best and the new standard by which all others are judged supersport medium.
Three cylinders, Made in Italy
The prevalence of MV Agusta motorcycle Grand Prix is in part due to its most successful engine design. Of the 37 world titles won by the jet Cascina Costa, 10 are attributed to the line bikes with three cylinders. MV Agusta was the first motorcycle manufacturer in the world who believe in the technical solution, a risk that paid off with countless victories. The three-cylinder engine that began as a DOHC 350 followed by a version of 500 cc, these bikes were legendary for their power, and its lighter weight and improved aerodynamics compared with 4-cylinder competition.
The project was designed at the request of Count Agusta, developed by Giacomo Agostini track and ran the greatest champions of all time to win immediately. Twin cam 350 initially, followed by the Twin Cam 500, these bikes became the benchmark for all other manufacturers, offering unmatched performance allowing them to dominate the competition. This domain was translated into 10 world titles, nine Italian championships and 215 victories. The three-cylinder MV was a motorcycle can not be beaten by the competition by implementing technology that was ahead of its time and destined to become the future for all high performance engines.
Even today, the classic three-cylinder MV Agusta is an example for the rational application of technology and pure style. A style so unique that transcends the soul of the MV today. Having to choose the design of the engine that powers the new MV Agusta medium weight, Claudio Castiglioni chose the rational configuration of three cylinders. A choice that is technically advanced, while at the same time respects the long history of MV Agusta and its many successes with this engine design. Today, as well as in the past, the F3 takes advantage of a very compact design, advanced technology and unprecedented power.
With the new F3, history and future merge into one entity, shaping the most beautiful and technologically advanced “600″, a motorcycle that clearly marks the beginning of a new era.
